About the setting and where to find us

About the setting…

This setting is safe and secure. The whole house has been checked by Ofsted and meets their safety standards. The fire brigade check up the premises regularly and make sure our emergency procedures are up to standards, and as we are a registered food business, we are subjected to controls by the Food Hygiene Services. The ground floor is entirely used for childcare. The spacious and well-lit playroom is at the heart of the house. It has a baby corner, a reading corner, an Art and Craft area and plenty of space for pretend play. Children have their meals in the adjoining dining-room, which leads to the kitchen. Children use this room daily to help with food preparation or for their weekly cooking activity. The lounge is where the older ones can escape from the younger ones or where everyone can enjoy a DVD in French. The playroom also opens onto a large, child-friendly and totally enclosed garden, where children have plenty of space to run around, grow various plants or observe the wild-life. There is a toilet with changing facilities. The office is where all the administrative side of the business happens. There is also a parents’ information board for you to see what is happening. The ground floor is fully accessible to wheelchairs.

When children need to rest, there are beds and cots upstairs for a nap. There is also a bathroom with changing facilities.

If we need a change of scenery, we are also close to several playgrounds (Acton Green Common and Chiswick Green Common), parks (Gunnersbury Park and Chiswick Park), and Gunnersbury Nature Reserve Triangle. We frequently take them to further locations, such as Kew Gardens or Kensington Gardens.
